Welcome to the Winnemucca DDS Pilot
Dental Desensitization Systems is partnering with Nevada Rural Regional Center to help caregivers and individuals build more comfortable and successful oral care experiences.
Before the December Event
Please complete the following two steps before attending the Winnemucca event.
Step 1: Complete Sensory Profile
Help us understand each participant’s oral care routine, dental history, sensory sensitivities, and areas where additional support may be helpful.
Step 2: Complete the Online Caregiver Training
Complete the self-paced Winnemucca DDS Caregiver Online Training before the in-person event.
Meet Your Trainer, Dr. Jacob Dent
Dr. Jacob Dent is a dentist, co-founder of Dental Desensitization Systems, and father of a son with special needs.
His personal and clinical experience helped shape the DDS approach, which focuses on practical, sensory-friendly strategies to make oral care more comfortable and successful for individuals, caregivers, and families.
Dr. Dent will be in Winnemucca for the December event to provide hands-on training, answer questions, and help participants put the DDS approach into practice.
